ABOUT RICK
Rick Ball started his career in the NZ music scene and has become a favourite as the popular drummer from kiwi icon Hello Sailor. With the theme song from Outrageous Fortune behind his belt, a gold record and a number of successful hit songs his creative focus now lies in using these talents to build a flourishing fashion company.
Rick has been a retailer of fashion in Auckland then wholesaler which manufactured and sold garments throughout NZ. After this a Sales Manager for Skin Jeans, giving him a lot of valuable knowledge about the fashion trade.
ABOUT BALL AGENCIES
Ball Agencies Ltd was started in 1987 by Rick Ball, named after its founder, the company originally started as a knitwear agency for a manufacturing Knitwear Company. Today we are no longer just a sales agency, for the last 15 years we have been an importer, wholesaler, manufacturer, designer and distributor of fashion. Rick‘s partner Josephine who represents most of Ball Agencies Ltd brands has her own fashion agency called Josephine Dickins Agencies; she also has a wealth of knowledge and imports her own hugely successful accessory collection which is absolutely stunning.
From humble beginnings Ball Agencies Ltd has collected more and more successful brands starting off with importing ANIMALE which has stood the test of time and is a favourite with retailers.
